Kid's who Care- South Gate R.O.C.K.S

For the longest time,I contemplated what I wanted to do with my life and one thing that always sticks out it connecting with teenagers. I know my teenage years were fun, exciting, and at times scary. But I always looked for direction and wanted to do something positive and still do. Now as an adult I am excited about helping an organization that does just that.

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Leticia Fernandez who formed a non-profit organization for youth in South Gate, CA. Her whole goal is to "Enrich and Empower" the youth of today. These kids of South Gate high have put in hundreds of hours of community service ALL BY CHOICE. It's something to be proud of.

On this night, the kids where recognized for their community service. It was awesome to hear their testimony about how this organization has made their life better, how it has done positive things for them and how they truly enjoy making other people smile with kind gestures. These are truly the leaders of tomorrow.
