Hotaru says Goodbye

I first met Hotaru when she came to my studio as a newborn... 2 years later she is saying goodbye to the U.S. and moving to Japan. It was so fun to sit and watch her interact with her classmates. It was obvious that Joshua was her best bud. I'm sure they will miss each other. Here are some images of the day.

Cody Turns One !

Once Again.. I met up with the Ackerman's to capture a part of their family history. Cody is ONE! I haven't seen him since he was about 3 months. His big brother Brady is...well BIG! It amazes me how fast time flies when I watch kids grow up. The older I get, the faster it goes. That is why I love family days so much, times is much to precious to be away from the one's you love. ")
It was fun catchin' up with the Ackerman's as they get ready for the new school year. So much has changed since I first met them. It's neat.

Cody had me running all over the place. The park was his heaven. He walked and ran for days..fell down and popped RIGHT back up and kept on going. He helped me get in my 30 minutes of cardio, That's for sure! :P

Hailey Loves Horses....

Hailey has to be one of the sweetest girls I know. Her love for animals is undeniable. She dreams of becoming a large animal veterinarian. Her mother wanted to document her life just before she enters the 7th grade. What a more perfect way to do it, than with the animal she loves most...Sarafina. Here's a little glimps into the life of the beautiful Hailey!!

Senior Portraits, the Fun Way !

It's back to school, once again! Time for those memories...the last year you will get that "school" portrait. I know when my kids graduate from high school I will be filled with mixed emotions for sure! I can totally wait for that to happen. When I was a senior I hated my photo sooo much, my mom took me to a REAL professional and the experience was great! (Nothing like my friends)

Most schools require your senior to go to a certain photographer for their year book photo, it's usually quick and easy, and very routine. What teenager doesn't want to have a mini modeling session, capturing what their high school years were really all about.

Alex loves his awesome Ford Falcon, he often has to add brake fluid, his mom isn't too fond of the smell inside the car, it's part of the the definition of "Alex"... how do you NOT add this into your session??

Karen is simply beautiful! and GLOWING in her 8th month of pregnancy. It was fun photographing her belly just before it deflates, lol... Her and Fabian are hard core Laker fans...so the jersey's were a MUST! Here are just a few images of their session.
